In re doing this page it made me look at the picture of the Wilford girls and what relation was May Short to the others in the picture and what relation were the Wilford girls to each other? The answer is quite simple really May Short’s mother was Charlotte York who was sister to Ruth York who was mother to Lillian and Annie Wilford. Florrie Wilford the other girl in the picture is Florence May Wilford born 1891 and is cousin to the other three and also sister to my Great Grandmother Edith Wilford their father being Thomas Edward Wilford who was brother to Frederick Wilford who was father to Lillian and Annie Wilford. Thomas Wilford, Luke Wilford, and Fred Wilford and their Brother-in Law Locket Pettit all feature in the other picture. Both the pictures of Annie Wilford were maybe taken at the time of her Marriage to Harry Skellham in 1918 as although she has a hat on in one of them the hair style looks the same
